Republic Square

Located in the centre of Ovar with quick access to principal historic streets. Until 1910 this square’s name was Praça do Comércio because of the market which was held there. The City Hall is located in this square. It is a building with a long symmetrical front with two floors, built in the late nineteenth century with the Ovar coat of arms visible in the centre.
